Riu Partner Club--Swine Flu Update

Due to the current situation in Mexico and the ongoing cancellation of flights into Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, we are forced to temporarily close some of our properties.

Playa del Carmen

Riu Lupita, Riu Playacar, Riu Tequila and Riu Palace Mexico will be closed until May 21st.

Guests already in house and guests due to arrive in this period at the Riu Lupita, Riu Tequila and Riu Playacar will be upgraded to the Riu Yucatan. Guests already in house and guests due to arrive in this period at the Riu Palace Mexico will be upgraded to the Riu Palace Riviera Maya.

Cancun

Riu Caribe will close until May 21st, guests already in house and guests due to arrive in this period will be upgraded to the Riu Cancun.

Puerto Vallarta

Riu Jalisco will close until May 21st and Riu Vallarta will close until May 13th. Guests already in house and guests due to arrive in these periods will be upgraded to the Riu Palace Pacifico.

Please continue selling the hotels, as all newly booked guests will be upgraded as stated. The reopening of the above mentioned hotels is planned to be on May 14th and 22nd accordingly. However, we are monitoring the development of the situation on a daily basis and we will be able to react very quickly in adjusting this date.
