New Passport Rules to Go into Effect 6/1

The full requirements of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative will be implemented on June 1, 2009.

This will require all travelers returning to the U.S. from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda—including those who go by land or sea—to have a passport or other federally approved ID.
