There’s No Business Like Show Business for Cunard

Cunard’s newest ship, the 90,000-ton Queen Victoria, will feature live entertainment in a three-tiered theatre venue that hosts an at-sea first—16 private boxes. Performances include:

Victoriana—set during the apex of the British Empire, this musical features contemporary choreography and period costumes. Following the performance, guests are invited to attend a real Royal Victorian-themed ball.

Dance Passion—from the rhythmic samba to the energetic swing, this performance showcases a wide range of international dances, including the salsa, the Argentine Tango, and the Jump Jive.

Celtic Heartbeat—with the creative force of former Riverdance performer, Dmitri Iliukhin, behind it, this theatrical experience combines original and traditional Irish song, music, and dance to tell the story of a young Irishman’s search for fortune.

A Stroke of Genius—spanning from Edgar Degas’ French Impressionism to Edward Hopper’s American Realism, this unique show is a blending of popular music such as the Rolling Stones with both modern and classic works of art and ballet performances.

Singers in Concert—a combination of two orchestras creates an eclectic arrangement that remains poignant yet light-hearted. Featured music includes works by Billy Joel, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Burt Bacharach, James Taylor, and more.

Queen Victoria is slated to enter into service in December of this year.
