'Tis the Season

We’ve all heard the term, “a public relations nightmare,” but the holidays can be a publicity dream come true and help you boost your business into the New Year. Right now, newspapers are packed with tips on preparing memorable family dinners and finding that perfect give for that special someone. And more often than not, these "articles" are provided by the grocery store and the little shop on the corner who conveniently list their addresses, Websites, and latest holiday sales offers along side their helpful hints. So think of what people want or need this time of year and how you can help them reach their holiday goals. Maybe you can give advice on organizing a holiday family reunion (including arranging the airfare) or planning a surprise romantic vacation. And remember, this strategy can work for online and broadcast media as well.
